Update for Arch Policyholders Regarding Explorica Claims
Nov. 5, 2020 — As part of our commitment to resolve policyholder claims, we have commenced legal proceedings against Explorica on an expedited basis to demand that it provide us with the required information about our policyholders’ trips that will allow us to fully assess all claims. The information sought includes details regarding dates of trip or trip arrangement cancellation by Explorica or its sub-suppliers and rebates, refunds and credits obtained by Explorica from its sub-suppliers.
As soon as we receive the required information we will be able to consider each claim.
We share our policyholders’ frustration that Explorica has not been forthcoming about this basic information and hope that by asking the court to expedite our process we can help resolve/bring closure to this issue.

NOTICE TO ARCH POLICYHOLDERS WHO HAVE FILED AN EXPLORICA TOUR CLAIM
Oct. 1, 2020 — As underwriter of the insurance policies issued in connection with Explorica tours from January 1, 2016 to April 30, 2019, Arch has assumed complete control over claims handling from Trip Mate in order to ensure the proper adjudication of claims as quickly as possible.
Arch has a thorough review process and places priority on the fair resolution of claims once all required documentation is received.
Arch is contacting all Arch policyholders who have filed a claim in connection with an Explorica tour. Policyholders can also contact Arch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
